I want to create a scenario for Arkansas U.S. Senate 1996. And then more after that. HOW do you create a scenario, using these maps. PLEASE HELP.
Also can you do a West Virginia map because I want to do a West Virginia Governor 1996 and 1992 scenario from when my cousin ran for Governor.

Thank you for your interest. 🙂 I have done West Virginia today and it will be up later (maybe with other new states) 🙂
It is pretty easy to create a scenario. Import my Arkansas map into the game: Campaign Editor > United States 2016 > create this new scenario basis > regions > map > click on the map and import the new one
First thing is done, now you have to make some adjustments: change region names and abbrevations to the counties of Arkansas perhaps change every flag to Arkansas’s flag and make Population adjustments (can be done later, not that important now). Now you have to place the new county abbrevations at the right place on the map. Make this with the abb. coordinates on the right side (if a county is too smal, place it near to it). If the County is large enough take the same coordinates for the fill coordinates. If not open the map in MS Paint and make sure you choose for every County a pair of co-ordinates which lays in it.
Arkansas has 75 counties, in a new US scenario basis are only 56 regions, so for example click on Wyoming and press new, the game will create a new region which can be adjusted as above mentioned in the map mod. Make this another 18 times and you can make this scenario possible. I would really like to play a scenario set in Arkansas, because it is one of my favorit US states 🙂 By the way are you from AR?
West Virginia has 55 counties so you have to delete 1 state. Make sure to give the counties created on the basis islands (like AS, GU or VI) at least one electoral vote to make them playable.
I hope I could make myself clear, as I am from Austria and English is just my second language. 🙂

Extra tip, try my suggestions in a Delaware scenario first, you only have to delete all but three regions and you can improve your mapping skills easily. 🙂
P.S. I think it is pretty cool, that your cousin ran for Governor of WV. 😀

Luki, I love Austria. My mother’s family is from there originally. After WWI, our family was not as welcome. 😉 Where is the link for West Virginia.

Sorry I did not find anything useful yet… The only type of map I’m able to convert (making borders black) is this: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Illinois_Locator_Map.PNG
but this one is to big for the game, and when I make it smaller I can’t convert it anymore… 🙁

Could your help be enlisted for maps on Canadian provinces? The actual game developers are doing nothing, and we don’t have a solid player base yet.
